Georgia Southern Tomorrow

Georgia Southern (6-11, 4-3)
College of Charleston (12-6, 4-3)
WS Hanner Fieldhouse
Tipoff at 7:30 on ESPN3

That video was worth posting for that catchy-ass Georgia Southern-themed rap.

Unbeknownst to most GSU fans, their school also offers sports programs separate and distinct from football. Who would've thought? Charlton Young's team of athletes has another year of experience under their belt and they seem to be slowly figuring things out. The Eagles are tied with the Cougars and Terriers for 2nd place in the Socon South and will be looking to defend their home court. Eric Ferguson is one of the "Young" guys on the team who seems to be panning out. He's right up there with Grosselle, Wiggins and Simpson for the Socon scoring title, averaging just over 16 points per game, and also leads his team in rebounding. GSU is looking to avoid a three-game skid that began with the team dropping both games in that upstate road trip to Wofford and Furman. If the Cougars are going to have a shot at avoiding a .500 record in conference we're really going to need to fix the blatant rebounding and free-throe shooting problems.

And that's about all I time a Georgia Southern player flicked me off at a game because I poked fun at his lack of playing time.

I'm not going to be able to watch this one live due to some traveling so I'll have to watch the replay online and depend on the CofC fan forum for my early analysis. Go Cougars!
